Depending on your version, it can act as a manufacturer plate, a serial number plate and a “mines” plate for restorations and official paperwork.

Standard drilling

Hole centers are 5 mm (≈ 0.20 in) from the edges. For 2 horizontal holes: spacing = width − 10 mm (≈ width − 0.39 in).
