Honda CBX1000 / CB1000 VIN plate
We produce a custom identification plate for Honda CBX models: a faithful reproduction of the original frame plate (also called manufacturer plate, serial number plate or “Mines” plate in French administrative wording). The engraving is workshop-made (cold marking) for a clean, long-lasting result.
Key features
- Material: black/silver aluminium (original-style finish).
- Fixing: 2 holes / 2 rivets.
- Marking: cold-engraved / cold-marked (clear and durable text).
- Use: restoration, replacement of a damaged/illegible plate, paperwork regularisation (depending on your case).
Standard drilling
The plate is drilled with 2 horizontal holes. Hole centers are 5 mm (≈ 0.20 in) from the edges; hole spacing is width − 10 mm (≈ width − 0.39 in).
Information to provide
- Frame No. (VIN / serial number) and the fields shown on your original plate.
- Type / code shown on the bike (e.g., CB1, SC03, SC06… depending on version).
- If needed: engine capacity, weights, date, and any specific mention to match the original layout.
Covered models (examples)
- Honda CBX1000 (late 1970s / early 1980s): common frame/model codes include CB1 (1978–1979) and SC03 (1980).
- Honda CBX1000 Pro-Link: commonly seen code SC06 (1981–1982/83 depending on market).
- Honda CB1000 (depending on plate and country): “CB1000 / CB1000 Custom” variants follow the same identification-plate logic.
If your exact version is not listed, no problem: we engrave the exact wording and layout required for your bike, based on the information you provide.
